Breastfeeding Tank Tops - Your Summer Fashion Essentials

Summer is now upon us, bringing with it the season’s sweltering temperatures. Breastfeeding mums all over Australia are looking for ways to stay fashionable and cool, and many don’t realise that the solution is simply to invest in a few key essentials, such as breastfeeding tank tops.

The great news is that our PeachyMama tanks make breastfeeding so much easier because you don’t have to lift them in order to nurse.

Breastfeeding tanks can be dressed up and dressed down, and we’ve found some fabulous ways that you can turn this simple article of clothing into a chic piece of your summer wardrobe and we’re sharing them with you today.

Accessorising your Tank

Mums love breastfeeding tank tops because this foundation piece can quickly turn into an on-trend item with accessories. Necklaces are always a popular item (and they’re a nice way to distract your baby from poking or scratching you during a feeding!), but some hot new ways we’ve seen tanks be dressed up include:

  • Scarves: Light-weight scarves can completely change the look of your outfit. As a bonus, they can be unwrapped during a feeding to help shield your baby or yourself from damaging UV rays.

  • Belts: This is one very on trend way to help conceal your “mummy tummy”.

  • Prints: Our selection of basic tanks and tees have allowed inventive mums to express their creative side. Customise your tank and make it your own through prints, embellishments and more!

Dressing your Tank

While some articles of clothing may only be “pant” or “skirt” appropriate, you can wear virtually any piece of clothing with your tank top and still remain on-trend. With a rainbow of colours available, we have the right breastfeeding tank for any occasion.

Apart from pairing a tank top with jeans, skirts and leggings, tanks can be worn under other pieces of clothing to help bring an outfit together including:

  • Vests

  • Fitted blazers

  • Button up shirts

  • Jackets

Different coloured tanks can also be layered to create a whole new look.

Mix and match colour combinations to suit your mood or to create a fashion statement!
